释义	烧绝栈道，示不东图西汉高祖元年(前206),项羽自立为西楚霸王，封高祖刘邦为汉王，王巴、蜀、汉中三郡四十一县。之后，项羽所封诸侯王分别回所封之国，汉王刘邦也带兵数万人从杜县(今陕西长安县西)南入蚀中去汉中。张良劝刘邦烧绝栈道(阁道),这样既可以防备其他诸侯军和盗贼的袭击，又可以让项羽知道汉王没有向东发展的打算，使项羽放松对汉王的警惕，真是一举两得。(《汉书·高帝纪》)
